Facebook Sabbatical

I suspended my Facebook account and I'm going to try to stay off Facebook until Mini Me starts school. 6 weeks. It hasn't been 6 hours yet and I'm feeling lost. An aimless kind of wandering on the net. Ah, but I have Twitter and you - my blog reader.
I have 6 weeks in which to be the best possible mother to my children. After that, I won't have my baby girl at home. Once Mini Me is in Montessori school, for 4 weeks, it will only be me and the boy, Motor Mouth. A special time for sure. How can I waste that on Facebook?
Seems I should quit Twitter too, but now's not the time to quit Twitter. Sherri Shepherd, co-host of The View, just direct messaged me today!! She said: "I like that." I am almost as excited as I was when WhittakerWoman first replied to a blog entry of mine. Ah, the joy and laughter and jumping and screaming that occurred on that blessed day.

I'm going to enjoy my freedom of speech this summer.
And my kids.
Ahhhhhh, it feels great already.

Ya...
there's always talk of "turning off the T.V. for a week" and, I think, for most mom's that wouldn't be ~nearly~ the challenge that going without FB, Twitter, and their Blogs would be. :-0

Cool getting a reply from a celebrity! The Fairy Blogmother got one once, too. Soooo...when's Denis Leary going to chat with me?
;-)

Be strong, you can do it. Just think this way. It is this time that you will remember when they are older. Not the status updates on facebook. YOU CAN DO IT!!! =)

I'll miss you on FB, but far, far better to focus on the big MM!

Twitter still discombobulates me...

Also keeps your extended family that make dumb ass comments on your wall from pissing you off.
