J's parents stopped in Chi-Town on a layover
We didn't tell the kids. Instead, we went to the big McDonald's downtown. Grandma and Grandpa walked in. Motor Mouth turned and saw them!!
It was great.
The joy in Motor Mouth's eyes made this such fun!!
It was a short, 24 hr layover. But it was so worth it.
The kids really needed to see their grandparents.

What a great surprise! I sometimes like to surprise Abby like that with her Uncle Dave and Auntie Mel.
