Where's the Camera? Where's the iPhone?

Never found my camera. I 'got over' the loss with the anticipation of the iPhone coming out on Friday (yesterday).

J and Apple Boy went to the Mac Store before God woke up on Friday morning. Even at that hour, they were 2 blocks away from the store entrance. They waited for 4 hours. But the system went down when they were 'only' 50 people away.  The guys had to leave so they could meet the womenfolk to take us sailing on Lake Michigan (see 'Sailing' from yesterday).

After sailing, both guys did a drive-by to see how long the lines were. Too long!  J also stopped by our neighborhood AT&T store - sold out. J went back by later Friday evening with no success. A few minutes ago, J called to tell me he is headed to THE LINE again, with Apple Boy.

I should mention, the reason why J is a man on a mission. J washed his phone within weeks of purchasing it last year.  In the last 5-6 weeks, his phone has started protesting. J's phone will shut off spontaneously and without warning. I'll be in the middle of a conversation with him, and bam! he's gone. More times than not, I can't reach him because his phone has shut off and he has no idea.

The iPhone is a necessity for me, because it has Google Maps. Instead of purchasing a Garmin GPS system, I'll have the iPhone that will reduce (and hopefully eliminate) the incidences of me getting lost in Chi-Town.

So that, is why we are so obsessed with getting an iPhone. Not sure why Apple Boy is so obsessed...

I need to get one of these - I'm just not the line type. Let us know how you like it!
