Family Fun Night - Airplane Theme

Family Fun Night
Airplane Night!!
I baked cookies that I cut in the shape of airplanes and helicopters. Used the same cookie cutters to make foam airplanes and helicopters.

I scanned and printed actual boarding passes we used on previous flights so we each had a boarding pass with our name on it. I printed a Departures board for fun. Airline food - pretzels and peanuts!!
Motor Mouth's airplanes and runway came in handy.
Mini cans of pop with clear cups and beverage napkins. Purple and red are Southwest's new colors.Mini vodka for mommy and daddy...to make the flight go faster.

Mini Me got in on the action!
We packed a suitcase to head to the airport. These were the snacks and activities we took onboard with us.

Only when Mini Me banged around with the suitcase, an airplane punctured a hole in a can of pop. Must have been all that cabin pressure!!

Daddy drove us to Midway airport so we could watch the planes take off and land.

A Hawker jet, just like the one Grandpa used to pilot.
We sang: "Leaving on a jet plane" for most of our trip.
