Normally, we do Family Friday with the kiddos. However, J was in line at the Apple Store for 4 hours on Friday morning. Afterwards, J and I went sailing Lake Michigan. Family Friday didn't happen until Saturday evening!
When J returned from scoring our new iPhones, I finally managed to drag him away from iPhoning to go to dinner as a family. Naturally, J used his iPhone to find a new Mexican restaurant, get turn-by-turn directions, and a food review!
Afterwards, we drove to Ping Tom Park, in Chinatown. Only no street parking was to be had. J used his iPhone to find another park. Only no street parking to be had there either. Welcome to the city!! By this time, it was too dark to try another park - parks close at dusk.
Instead, we went to a fountain near our home and let the kids get soaking wet! We were only 5 minutes from home, so we didn't care the kids didn't have a towel, or soaked their carseats.
