Motor Mouth LOVES Chicago!!We arrived on Friday morning at Midway Airport. Mercedes and her friend from Dallas met us at the airport. On the way in to downtown, when Motor Mouth saw the tall buildings he said, "Chicago is cool, Mommy!" Our route took us along the lake shore. Motor Mouth was very vocal and excited about seeing the boats, Lake Michigan, and Navy Pier.
Driving around town, doing a few errands, while we waited for J to arrive, Motor Mouth commented on the buildings, the people, the El, the bridges, etc. It felt like I was driving with J, who points out everything of interest. It was great to hear Motor Mouth excited about his new city.
That evening, we met up with J in front of our building. The four of us walked in to the condo together. The kids LOVED the loft. Motor Mouth was so excited about his bedroom. He was even more pumped when he saw the trains outside his window. Motor Mouth said, "I love Chicago!"
We made the right decision.
