Gingerbread Houses!
Moo Moo and Mee Mee brought Gingerbread houses for the kiddos!!! It's a tradition.
I'm really glad that Santa sent Mee Mee from his Christmas Farm at the North Pole. Mee Mee is just wonderful to have with us. It's like our family is finally complete with a Christmas Cow for each child. Good job, Santa!

Moo Moo Day 4
Moo Moo was nice and naughty on Day 4.
Naughty
Moo Moo ate some of the chocolate in each of the kids' Christmas Countdown Calendar. Interestingly, if J or I had snagged a piece of chocolate, the kids would have thrown a fit! Moo Moo does it and it's fine.
Nice
Moo Moo gave the children gingerbread house kits. How nice! Extra nice was that Moo Moo managed to find the pre-fab houses. This was good so we didn't have to put them together.

Moo Moo Day 3
Moo Moo was soooooo naughty yesterday.
Remember this?
This morning, Motor Mouth asked what we were going to do with Moo Moo. I suggested we put Moo Moo in Mini Me's room and close the door so he couldn't get to the toys and the kitchen. Motor Mouth suggested I take Moo Moo to work with me in my purse. So I did.
Moo Moo was naughty again!
He got on my iPhone and called J before we even left our parking garage!
While at work, Moo Moo kept jumping out of my purse and on to the desk when someone came in the office. To top it off, Moo Moo called Motor Mouth's teacher and left a voice message with him singing.
Moo Moo in time out in my office.

Moo Moo Day 2
This morning, Moo Moo was so sweet!
He left the kids chocolate milk syrup and mini marshmallows!
Seems Moo Moo had a slightly naughty night.
He ate J's Heath bar that J had his heart set on enjoying!
And look at what J found this morning when he returned home unexpectedly...!
Did you see Toy Story 3? If not, watch it then come back.
Moo Moo Day 1
Moo Moo sleeping his 1st night back.
Motor Mouth said Moo Moo needed a bed.
He made it using his swim team trunks,
a Kleenex, and a curtain from Mini Me's kitchen.
Motor Mouth gave him a book to read while we were gone all day.
It's a dinosaur book Motor Mouth made.
Each year, Moo Moo gives the children Christmas
countdown calendars with chocolate in each day.
Yum!
Moo Moo is Back!
Our precious friend from Santa's Farm at the North Pole has returned.
I wasn't sure if Moo Moo was sick. I couldn't find a small enough phillips head screwdriver at home, so I hid Moo Moo in my purse on Tuesday morning. Moo Moo and I went to Home Depot where I borrowed a screwdriver to open his battery case. Turns out, I was smart when sending Moo Moo back to Santa because his batteries had been removed. I purchased a pack of AAA batteries and off we went.
When I picked up the kids from school, I told them we had received something wonderful in the mail. As soon as the kids saw Moo Moo, they ran to him and gave him hugs. Motor Mouth said he things Moo Moo got taller and lost weight. Then he proceeded to show Moo Moo all the new furniture.
J was not as pleased about our friend's return. He told the children Moo Moo had been very naughty last year and that he had better not be naughty like that this year or j would send him back to the Santa at the north Pole. Motor Mouth defended the little cow pretty extensively and Mini me told me that Moo Moo ha a birthday and now he is older so he won't be as naughty.
I am so happy to have our holiday houseguest back!
Note: if you are confused, look up Moo Moo under my categories to the right...

12 Days of Christmas 2010 - Planning
The 25 Days of Christmas is a pretty popular thing to do. However, Mini Me will be in Canada for half of December because her school gets 3 weeks of Christmas vacation. This means, we will only have 12 days in which to Christmas together.
Here is what I am thinking of doing.
I pulled out our schedule for the month, factored in J's work schedule and Motor Mouth's swim schedule and Mini Me's travel schedule. Then I dumbed it down so I could handle all of this with minimal help from J.
Moo Moo, that crazy-naughty-singing-dancing cow
from the North Pole has to return.
from the North Pole has to return.
Help me out:
Do you have any naughty ideas for Moo Moo?

Bye Bye 2009 - Bye Bye MooMoo
And so it ends. A year of changes, challenges, some highs, and, thankfully, not many lows.
One of the highs was a wonderful little cow named MooMoo that joined our family December 1st. MooMoo was supposed to go home with Santa on Christmas Eve, but the children loved him too much to say goodbye so soon.

Santa gave MooMoo 1 more week with us.
At midnight on December 31st, we said goodbye to 2009 and MooMoo.
But not before he left us this present the morning of New Year's Eve...
(Milk Duds. My MIL's idea.)

MooMoo the Christmas Cow - Extended Sugar Frenzy
The children were NOT ready for MooMoo to return to the North Pole on Christmas Eve, with Santa. Mini Me bawled. Literally, boohooed. The ugly cry. Who knew a singing, dancing cow would ingrain himself into the hearts of our family??
J sent Santa a text to see if MooMoo could stay.
Santa said 'Yes!' We were so excited.
Until Monday morning....
And that, boys & girls, is what a sugar induced cow frenzy looks like.
I think the MooMoo has mad cow disease...

MooMoo the Christmas Cow - Live, Love, Laugh
Working has really kicked my butt!
I was late RSVPing to Santa by the deadline.
All the visiting elves were gone.
The Widney's got MooMoo the Christmas Cow.
MooMoo has been wonderful and sweet.
He dances and moos "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"
and is pretty good, except for when he is naughty!!
Our family will miss MooMoo when he hitches
a ride back to the North Pole with Santa tomorrow night.
Helping to make the gingerbread houses
Showed up in my purse...

Shhh...I brought him to work w/me one day

Playing games. Literally.
This is where MooMoo was found one morning

What? Was he lonely?

MooMoo the Christmas Cow - Wk 1
MooMoo the Christmas Cow is a major hit in our home! The children LOVE MooMoo.
Most people have a Christmas Elf. We have a Christmas Cow. Why a cow? Because I forgot about the elf thing until 8 pm the night before and could only find this singing cow at Target. That's why.
I told Motor Mouth and Mini that Santa sent MooMoo to stay with us until Christmas. The kids are happy about this.
Last night, we went looking at Christmas lights and the kids said they wished MooMoo was with us because MooMoo would have enjoyed it. They actually got a little upset with us because we didn't include MooMoo.
They want MooMoo to eat at the table with us and watch movies together. When I read them bedtime stories, MooMoo has to be able to see the pages of the book. Each day, the children receive a letter from MooMoo that I help Motor Mouth read.
Day 1
Santa's Cow brought Christmas Countdown Calendars for each child. Naturally, they love the chocolate they get to eat in the morning! The kids named the cow "MooMoo."
Day 2
MooMoo gave the kids Pop Tarts for breakfast. MooMoo wanted to fix them eggs, but is not allowed to use the stove.
Day 3
The kids received chocolate syrup for their milk for breakfast from MooMoo.
Day 4
MooMoo brought Gingerbread houses to be decorated with Mommy.
Day 5
MooMoo was hiding in the pantry. Perhaps MooMoo was upset for not being included in the Christmas Light tour. It gave J and I an extra 15 minutes of sleep time while the kids went in search of MooMoo.
This morning, J told me he was so proud of me because MooMoo the Cow is such a big hit with the children.
