Wait! Where's the eggnog? I tried making it last night and it FLOPPED. Instead, we had red tea to match our clothes! No really, it was raspberry iced tea.

This week's Family Fun Night is dedicated to Christmas (cute blonde, back row center). Below is most of my sisterhood from 'The Tek' in Tulsa. We celebrated each other's birthdays by decorating desks, group lunch, and a gift card!! Christmas was born on December 25th, but she celebrates her birthday on July 25th. Christmas, this blog is for you.

  1. What a great idea. LOVE the cake, it's so cute.

My Mom has been pushing the Christmas in July thing for my Aunts and Uncles, but so far it's been a no go. I wish they'd change their mind!

  2. I am just loving your "Widney Wednesday" ideas. You are so creative. I especially love that you didn't ~actually~ cook a turkey dinner (before the picture loaded I was worried you had lost your marbles). ;-)

    Great work, Mony!
I am totally going to have to copy some of these some day.

  4. Thanks for all the comments on the cake. I almost didn't make it!

I have to warn you, ladies, if you make the cake, cut the licorice into 'slice-sized' pieces first. Otherwise, it will be challenging to cut.

And, if your red fruit roll-ups say 'tattoo in every roll' it means the tattoo is ON the roll-up so don't get that one.

Oh, and you are supposed to use red and green gum drops but I couldn't find any.

  5. That cake is so cute!

We made ornaments & went carolling on our Christmas night. The neighbors stared...oh well...we had fun!
